Colour of the year 2016 ?

Photo : Pinterest

Around the end of 2015 there was much a do (in certain circles) about what the new colour trends would be for the coming year.
These trends influence everything from fashion to interiors.  Pantone gave us two this time round Rose Quartz and Serenity (basically baby pink and baby blue).  Not one to have ever been influenced by trends I have always been a lover of all things white and so for me, I predict more and more white will start to appear on our high streets.

From my own extensive collection of white items in my home, these are beautiful vintage, fine bone china cups and saucers that I would never part with.

  3. Beautiful images. I love white too but I don't think I could be so disciplined with a white interior. Colour always seeps in, but then again I love colour too. Happy New Year.

  4. Nice to see you standing your ground Karen and not being dictated to by Pantone! I couldn't do an all white house, despite loving yours, which is beautiful x

  5. Ahh, such gorgeous, calming images - you're definitely selling me on the 'white approach' Karen. I always thought it would be impossible to 'live white' with 3 boys, but you have proved me wrong as you manage do it beautifully. Very inspiring x
